MODEL FLYING CLUB

The club was formed in 1970 and has over 100 members

We fly Radio Control of all disciplines including power, glider and helicopter. The large membership has a great variety in both models and styles of flying. Club night meetings are every first Wednesday of the month at the Royal Naval Association which is beside the flying field.

The bylaws limit us on IC powered flying times

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 16:00 to 18:30 hrs. 01/04 to 30/09

Members only to 14:00 Weekends 01/05 to 31/12

Members only on Sunday after club night to 18:00 May to Oct

Model weight limit (without fuel) 7 Kg.

No flying time limitations for electric/silent flight.

No flying is allowed if there is a published 'event' at the field, such as a rugby match, fun-fair or car-boot sale.
